Thought I'd post this here as there are a lot of rumors going around that aren't actually true...not that all REAL news around the Switch 2 is rainbows and unicorns of course, but no need to have more negativity around it than actually necessary, right?
TLDW - at least some "switch 2 editions" of switch 1 games will be the switch 2 build on a proper switch 2 game card (cartridge with the game on it). Zelda BotW and Metroid Prime 4 are both confirmed to be proper switch 2 game cards.
The Gamecube controller being sold for switch 2 will work with all games that can reasonably be played with the GC button layout; you're not restricted to using it exclusively with the GC games available via NSO.
The physical/digital price difference seen on Mario Kart World is exclusively a European MSRP thing and it looks like most retailers are just selling it for the digital price anyways.
